Networking Monitoring

The phone saves the information on the actual and maximally six others cells, it can use in case of need. Information on each cell is divided into 2 display pages, giving a total of 14 pages of information. After entering *#9993#, go to menu and choose Engineering functions and Cell Info. The first page of information on actual cell will appear on the display. You can switch between pages using either arrows or by pressing numbers 0..6.

FCN - channel number
RXl - intensity of signal in dBm
Cl - Value in dBm remaining until the phone change actual cell (if any)
SC - terminal is synchronized with data-flow of the cell
GLn - type of GSM-network (GL1 for GSM Phase 1 and GL2 for GSM Phase 2)
IDL - status of terminal

IDL - (IDLE) Idle
SER - (SEARCH) Searching for the cell...
ASS - (ASS..?) The connection with the cell is being established (before communication)
DED - (DEDICATED) terminal is communicating with the cell
RXa - defined extreme value of intensity of signal in dBm of usability of the cell
TXp - VF output power used for the first initialization of the connection in PL units
BC - Broadcast Code - code used to distinguish the cells sharing the same channel. It is used for synchronization of encoding and decoding too.
NC - National Code - code used to distinguish the neworks using the same channel. Most important near the network-borders
Cnnnnn - identification number of the cell (dec.)
Hnn - number of handovers (cell changes during the connection) since switching on the phone
fnn - number of unsuccessful handovers since switching on the phone
1 - (in lower left corner) - number of backup cell
NC - terminal is not connected with this cell (just monitoring incoming signal)
SYNC - the cell is in the area, where terminal is now registered in (otherwise nothing is displayed)

Meanings of other abbreviations are the same, as on the actual cell. Contents of information on other cells are the same, except the number in lower left corner, which is the cell number.

During connection, press right button MENU, up arrow (the item Active Info) will appear on the display) and press right button MENU again.
